Alhamdu lillahi alladhi ahyana ba‘da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur. (All praise is for Allah who gave us life after death, and to Him is the return.)
Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah. (We have reached the morning and the kingdom belongs to Allah; all praise is for Allah.)
Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namut, wa ilaykan-nushur. (O Allah, by You we enter the morning and evening, by You we live and die, and to You is the return.)
O Allah, make the beginning of this day goodness, its middle prosperity and its end success. Ameen.
Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman naafi‘an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan. (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision and accepted deeds.)
Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkaltu, wa huwa rabbul-‘arshil-‘azeem. (Allah is sufficient for me; there is no god but Him. In Him I place my trust.)
Radeetu billahi rabban, wa bil-Islami deenan, wa bi-Muhammadin (ﷺ) nabiyyan. (I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet.)
Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi — glory and praise be to Allah, as I begin this blessed morning.
O Allah, keep my family safe today, ease my affairs and protect me from all harm. Ameen.
Bismillah — in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. I begin my day trusting in You.
